Applications open soon for a new residential home at affordable prices in Birmingham – WBRC

Birmingham, Ala. (WBRC) – Birmingham adults looking for homes at affordable prices will soon have a new option. Thehe Southtown senior homes at affordable prices The complex will be opened this spring and applications will be accepted from Thursday, February 13th.

At a price of $ 28 million, the development aims to provide a safe, comfortable and affordable living for one of the most vulnerable populations in the city.

The complex will offer 143 units with one and two bedrooms, and the eligibility is clear:

• Applicants must be 62 years old or older

• They must meet revenue requirements

Larry Williams, CEO of HABD’s Housing Housing Program, says the search for senior homes in Birmingham is always high and this project is part of a broader strategy to meet this need.

Williams encourages applicants to apply online for the fastest and most easy process.

“Overall, many people will try to come and get paper applications, but the fastest way to apply is online,” Williams said. “You will need information like your birth certificate, social security number, your identification number. You will need this information, so when you apply, if you have this at hand, you can upload it relatively quickly. “

Paper applications are available to those who prefer them, but submitting an application online optimizes the process.
