Appeal of witnesses as a woman dies after attacking a busy railway station – Bromsgrove advertiser

The woman, whom the British Transport Police said she was in the 1980s, had a broken thigh bone and potential injuries to several ribs in the incident that had happened last year.

The British Transport Police said the officers were called to Birmingham New Street Station shortly after 11am on November 19, 2024, after reports of an attack by a woman at the fair.

Later, she died on December 27, with her death being believed to be related to the incident.

A woman of the 20th was arrested on suspicion of GBH and has since been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on a conditional guarantee in anticipation of additional investigations, the British Transport Police said.

The British Transport Police are already appealing for information about the attack and is willing to talk to a man who witnessed the incident.

He was described as a tall white man in the early 30s, with a short beard in the style of goat.

He was dressed in a brown knit hat, black glasses, a black peacock with a double arc, a beige trouser, dark gray gloves, a light gray scarf, black shoes and a black backpack.

Employees believe the man in the description has “valuable information” that could help the investigation.

Di Ian Wright of Birmingham Sid said: “We are calling on the witness of this incident to come out, we believe that he has vital information that will help this investigation.

“The man or someone else who may witness what happened is called to contact us by sending text messages 61016 or called on 0800 40 50 40, citing a report 243 of November 19, 2024.

“Alternatively reports can be made by calling Anonymony Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
