Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Laredo Services Animal Services (LACS) will no longer work as an independent department. Instead, it will now fall under the public health of Laredo.
Laredo’s public health assures the residents that this change will not affect LACS operations. It aims to improve the services currently provided for our four -legged friends.
A spokesman for Larendo’s Public Health, Jaime Perez says that this change also means that LACS will no longer have its director. Noting: “D -R Chamberlain will now be the Health Director overlooking this unit. The department has an assistant director in Miss Lauren Blue Stone, who has been doing a phenomenal job since he is on board with us [since] mid -summer. “
Perez added that with this new change, a new LACS logo was created and he encouraged people to engage with them through social media.
