Fisherman of Baltimore County set a new record for Maryland as a yellow perch, crashing a scar that has been standing since 1979.

Thomas Dembek Jr. from Hyms, Maryland landed a 2.3-pound 16-inch yellow perch on February 7, while fishing on the lower River Suschan. It was deeply jiggling in 50 feet of water, using a double jigging platform with small soft plastic combs on an ounce heads arranged over a 1 ounce sink.
