Baton Rouge – LSU Angel Reise’s former women’s basketball star will return to Baton Rouge for a pre -season game of WNBA with Chicago Heaven in May.
Reese and the sky will play an exhibition game against the Brazilian national team on May 2 at 7:00 pm
“We are glad to host a game of WNBA in May with the participation of Chicago Sky and Angel Reese,” said coach Kim Bulki, who Rase played less than two seasons. “Angel played a major role in creating our LSU program and I know that our fans will be excited to return it to PMAC. She had such a great season for a rookie and we can’t wait to continue to watch WNBA flourish. “
Reese led the Tigers to her first NCAA championship in 2023 and shot it shortly after. She was named Player of the Year SEC in 2024 and finished her time in LSU with the third most points in one season in LSU history with 829 in the 2023 season.
“It will be amazing to return to Baton Rouge, a community that means so much to me,” Reese said.
Reese was made from the Chicago sky as the seventh choice of the first round of the WNBA 2024 project.
