After a month of consuming pounds of beef patties and endless sides of fries, the 12th annual Sioux Falls battle in the city center has a new champion.

Thousands of votes were enrolled this year a friendly competition in the city center. A record number of 39 Sioux Falls restaurants showed off its creative and delicious burgers. But who came to the top?

The new champion of the 12th annual battle in the center of Sioux Falls is …Chef Lance is on Phillips with the Cuban Burger!

This is a victory for a return after the Lance chef took a break from the battle last year. So, what is the award -winning Cuban burger from Chef Lance? Nothing but kindness, of course!

8 ounces of Angus Certified Banic Garnished with Slow Roasted Pork, Raspberry Barbecue sauce, pickles, shoulder bacon, Swiss cheese and Dijon Mayo on onions. Serve with fried potatoes and Mojo’s dip sauce.

Yum !! This burger sounds amazing! Unfortunately I was unable to visit Chef Lance is on Phillips This year. But now my husband and I have an excuse for another night! Just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Monk’s Ale House also received the prize for the most burgers sold at 6,200. Aunt! Lots of meat!

Eating 39 burgers for one month is a big task for everyone to accomplish. Fortunately, my colleague Jeff Harknes and I partnered this year to look at as many burgers as possible. As a team, we were able to take about 22 burgers. The best part? All the burgers we took sample were unique. No two burgers looked like.
