An 18-year-old high school student killed in Birmingham early Saturday morning-leader of Alabama news

The Birmingham Police Department is investigating an early murder on Saturday morning that police believe an 18-year-old, who attended a High School student in Huffman, was killed.

According to the BPD, shortly after midnight at 12:20 on Saturday, officers from the northern section respond to a firing signal in 600 blocks on the 8th terrace west.

When the officers arrived on the spot, they found a destroyed vehicle at a residence.

Officers watched 18-year-old Ronald Bennett Jr. on Earth near a vehicle suffering from a firearm.

The Birmingham fire arrived on the spot and pronounces Bennett, Jr. Dead.

At that time, the Birmingham police had no suspects.

BPD says they will carefully look for the observation cameras.
