Alt Town Gallery Scotsdale Exhibition on Themed Until Valentine’s Day – Scottsdale.org

An old City Gallery of Scottsdale will include a special Valentine’s theme in a new exhibit that includes works by owners.

Andrea Gallery, 7019 E. Main St., manages the exhibition throughout the month and is opened from 1-4 am from Monday to Saturday and by appointment.

International artist Andrea de Kerpeli-Zak, who owns the gallery with her daughter Andrea Zarasevsk, has created a special series of works with the topic of Valentine Part of the exhibit.

The Hungarian born artist is known for her free impressionistic floras, and two of her works were ordered for Pope John Paul II.

“Her flowers are a symbol of freedom and are not imprisoned in vases when she left Hungary during the 1956 uprising,” her daughter said.

Zakrzewski, a fashion designer who sells his clothing under the Artsyandreaz Floral Fashion brand, exhibits a custom -worn art, including Valentine’s floras. Her designs are presented on the track of numerous fashion shows. Dresses, scarves, skirts are part of the exhibit.

The exhibition will also present works entitled “Romantic Ladies” by Richard Johnson.

“I’ve always loved the human figure,” says Johnson, who says he tries to “not only make the figure, but also tell the story within this picture.”

Johnson studied at the Art Institute in Chicago and the American Academy of Arts and has painted several presidential portraits.

Sarah McKenzi’s Abstracts Works with Valentine’s theme of colors are also presented. Summary, a mixed media artist exploring the internal, subconscious experience and his connection with the color, shape and texture.
