Saturday, the Alpharetta, Ga., native followed with a 20-kill performance at UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, posting The Big West’s highest total in a three-set match this season. The match marked the ninth time this year that Alexander finished with at least 20 kills in a game.

Alexander averaged 6.33 kills per set on the trip, raising her season averages to 5.10 kills and 5.58 points per set. Alexander’s kills are good for third in NCAA Division I, and her scoring average ranks fifth nationally.

On Saturday at UC San Diego, Jensen tied a career-best 32 hits in the five-set upset, the third-most in the Big West this season. The 32-point outing is tied for sixth in the UCI record books for a game.

On the week, Jensen averaged 4.70 kills per set with six aces and six assists. The libero is just 12 shots away from reaching the 1,000 career hit plateau.

In a 3-2 win against the Anteaters on Saturday, Hollis had a double-double of 53 assists and 16 steals. Both numbers represented new career highs as Hollis recorded his fifth double-double of the year.

UC San Diego’s Paulina Bailey helped the Tritons to two wins over the weekend to claim Big West Freshman of the Week honors. The honor is the second of the season for the Carlsbad, Calif., product, who won Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 2.
