Cabinets that allow customers to collect and return online orders are part of the continuing partnership of the supermarket with Parcel Locker Inpost supplier.

They are available at ALDI stores in Darlington, Durham and Peterley.

The success of the test in 22 stores in December 2023 led to the installation of over 260 Inpost cabinets in the United Kingdom.

Richard Thornton, a Director of Aldi UK communications, said: “Our customers appreciate the convenience, which is why we are expanding the availability of Inpost lockers in more Aldi stores.

“By adding cabinets to more places across the country, customers can now collect or return plots without any problems as they raise their shopping in Aldi.”
