Alabama makes the case ranked # 1 in win over Arkansas – Espn Sioux Falls

Fayetteville, Ark. – Crimson Tide Alabama has started the most difficult schedule in half of each team this season on Saturday night. Leaving Alabama from the middle of Alabama, Alabama began with two road trips before returning to Coleman Coliseum for the Basketball Iron Cup.

Alabama ended the first of the nine challenges he will face before the start of the SEC tournament in March, providing a road victory against John Calipari and Arkansas Razorbacks, 85-81.

At this point, the SEC PLAY is obvious strengths and weaknesses of the team. The difference between good, great and elite teams is how coaches and players adapt to the trains that otherwise could derail a special season. Alabama lid is the turnover. The Crimson Tide can score at the country’s request, but to tear down the alabama from their rhythm, forcing the turnover early and is often a long night for Nate Oats and Crimson Tide.

Razorbacks seems to have this game plan to enter the night. They forced Alabama to score and affected the shots of the purple tide, with Alabama turning the ball nine times in the first half.

Oats and Alabama acknowledged where the defeat could come from on Saturday and adjusted to half-time to avoid another team disorder of the top three in the day.

Oats and the tide saw only five turnover in the second half.

Alabama’s backup unit from the bench was an area where The Crimson Tide knew it could easily handle Arkansas. This season, Razorbacks is not moving with great depth and the rotation became even more thin with the loss of Boogie Fland in January. Alabama’s Bench of Aden Holloway, Labaron Filon, Muhammad Diubate and Aiden Schelle are 31 for Alabama in the victory – led by Diubate with 14 of the bench.

Alabama made her case to be ranked as team # 1 in the country on Monday. Obun, the current team # 1, fell at home in Florida Gators, and Duke, the previous team # 2 in the country, fell to Clemson shortly before the halftime of Alabama and Arkansas.

The road is insidious, and Alabama will surely be tested more than Saturday night against Arkansas, but the first test has passed from oats and the purple tide.

Alabama finished the game smugly, with Arkansas continuing with 14-2 to reduce the deficit to only three towards the end of the game. Grant Nelson received the discount to leave the victory for Alabama.

Alabama can be team # 1 in the country for the second time in three seasons next week. The next Crimson Tide match will come on Tuesday, February 11th, back on the road in Austin, Texas against Longhorns.
