Air Force Falcons lose to San Jose Spartans in Mountain West Game – Sports Illustrated

Air Force Falcons cut off their competition against San Jose State University on Saturday night at the Credit Union Provident events center before a crowd of 2,037 with a score of 75-64.

The loss was the 11th consecutive defeat of the Mountain West for the Falcons. The Air Force falls to 3-19 during the season.

Despite 15 points from Ethan Taylor and 13 points from Luke Kerni, the falcons could not keep up with the Spartans. The Spartans led from the beginning, and the Air Force could not keep up with their transition game.

San Jose State defeated the falcons by 12-2 on the quick breakdown points.

Josh Udw led the Spartans with 24 points. Latrell Davis got off the bench and collided with 18. Will McKlland added 15 points and three goals to 3 points at eight attempts. Ethan Taylor also scored 15 points in shooting 5 to 15.

The Air Force fired 36.7% of the terrain. San Jose State struck 50% of his shots. The Spartans were 10 in 20 of the 3-point range, which was the difference in the game.

The falcons ahead of the Spartans 39-32. The Air Force also received 17 offensive struggles compared to nine in San Jose. The problem was that the ball did not fall into the Air Force Basket.

The Air Force played evenly the game of turnover with the Spartans. They both had 26 points from the speed.

Entering the game, Falcons hit 34% of shots behind the rainbow. They also fired 62.8% of the free throw line. The Air Force scored above their average of 63.3 points per race. They also fired under their average for the season 43.6% of the terrain.

This is the second victory for San Jose State over the falcons in a few weeks. The Spartans won the Air Force 69-62 on January 11th. The victory on Saturday night was the eighth for San Jose over the Air Force in the last 11 games.

The Air Force hosted Nevada on Tuesday, February 4 at Clune Arena.

They will look for their first victory in 13 games. They have lost 12 games in a row. The Nevada game will give up at 19:00 MT.

State San Jose will travel to Fresho Tuesday.
