Prison records say on Monday, February 3 at about 9:30 am, the deputies were sent to E. Jolisant Drive’s home, not far from Zigen Lane, for shooting.

When they arrived, the MPs found an elderly man on the street, holding a gun with a firearm in his leg.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the victim’s son, identified as Williams, seemed to call it and “asked for money.”

According to the victim, Williams threatened him on the phone that he “would show him what he was doing to the people who had his money.”

An arrest report said Williams arrived at the home “aggressively bumping at the door, shouting obscene words and demanding money.”

Then Williams seemed to be broke into the home while armed. Once inside, the father tried to take the gun from his son.

During the dispute, Williams shot his father in his feet, according to the arrest report.

While questioned by the authorities, Williams admitted that he was armed with a gun, kicking the door and pointing the gun at his father. He was booked at the parish prison in East Baton Rouge.
