Adelato, California (vvng.com) – A 40-year-old Adelato man was arrested on Thursday night, February 13, 2025, after MPs responded to a home disturbance involving threats and attacks, according to a statement by the Sheriff Department of San Bernardino County.
At approximately 19:49, MPs B. Velazquez and T. Baka were sent to 911 calls to the 11100 block of Rosesale Drive in Adelato. The call reported that Dale Allen Roos was armed and attacked his wife.
After arriving at the scene, MPs evacuated the house and detained Roos. “During the investigation, it was found that Roos had attacked his wife,” the Sheriffe Department said.
The victim who received injuries was transported to a local hospital.
The deputies also learned that Roos had threatened to kill his wife and their young children, all under the age of 15, with AK47 rifle.
Subsequent search for the residence led to the discovery of several firearms, including a loaded AK47 attack rifle.
Roos, a convicted criminal, was arrested and reserved at the desert detention center.
He faces numerous accusations, including an attack with a deadly weapon (PC 245 (A) (1)), Spouse abuse (PC 273.5 (A)), a criminal possessing ammunition (PC 30305 (A) (1)), possession, possession of an illegal assault weapon (PC 30605 (A)) and the production of a high capacity magazine (PC 32310 (A)).
Roos is held on bail of $ 150,000.
