Los Angeles – a woman suspected of the murder of her wife, captain of the Kal firefighter, who struggled with Ethan’s fire last month, had previously been convicted of the murder of her first husband, records show.

Yoland Morodi, also known as Yolanda Oleinichak, is suspected of killing his wife, Rebecca Marodi, according to the Sheriff Department of San Diego County. 49 -year -old Rebecca Marodi was found stabbed to death on Monday at Ramona Residence.

Yoland Marodi was sentenced in 2004 to 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to a voluntary murder in the fatal stabbing of her then -husband, James Joseph Oleiczak, according to court records. She was serving time in prison from 2004 to 2013.

The 53 -year -old Marodi is currently free and the authorities want the public’s help when finding it. It is described as 5 feet, about 166 pounds with brown hair, according to a Sheriffe Department.

Rebecca Marodi began his career as a volunteer firefighter in 1993 in the Moreno Valley and worked as a seasonal firefighter in the cities of Riverside and San Bernardino from 1994 to 2000, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the RiverSade County Fire Service. She was a fire engineer in 2007 and promoted to Captain in 2022.

Marodi was among the many firefighters who helped fight Ethan’s deadly fire last month, according to Instagram.

An Instagram account for Yolanda Marodi included a reference to Rebecca Morodi as her wife.
