Labok, Texas-74-year-old James Wilkinson of Labok was arrested and accused of possessing at least 500 files that show materials for sexual abuse of children, according to court records derived from Everythinglubbock.com.
The court documents state that someone bought a home from Wilkinson in 2023.
According to the court registers, the new owners were cleaning the home when they found VHS cartridges and DVD at the bottom of the entertainment center. When they saw the coverings and cartridges of the cartridges, the new owners worried that they had discovered sexual content showing children, so they called police.
After the police gathered the evidence, the owners found hard drives and a laptop, the court records said.
Wilkinson was accused of possessing child pornography. The court records state that he had “500 or more visual images” of sexual abuse materials over children.
Wilkinson was taken to Lubok County Center and has a $ 50,000 guarantee. Wilkinson is no longer in prison since Tuesday.
