A strong wind down a huge tree, forcing the closure of the road – Kolo

Reno, Nev. (Kolo) – Strong winds are anxious urban foresters that are responsible for the management of tree debris. “We started calling on Sunday morning around 4 o’clock in the morning, we had a few dozen trees removed around the city due to the strong winds,” says Matt Basil, a city forestry for the city of Renault.

The city foresters in the city deal with this wind storm. “The city of Renault is responsible for maintaining roads and sidewalks clear for a safe trip. When a tree falls as in this wind storm, we go out and clean the road and the sidewalk, “added the forestry.

The Casazza Drive was closed for nearly an hour after a spruce from Oregon clicked at the base, landed on the top of the car and blocks the road.

“One of the things we have seen, like this for free here, sometimes the trees fall by power lines. We have NV Energy here to exclude the lines and make sure it is safe for us, “Basil said.

The Basil says it prevents a fire and warns people from signs from watching. “If you see that the soil around the tree begins to crack and moves with the wind. You have to worry. You can call Reno Direct for some help from the city’s forestry department or local arborist to go out and browse your tree. Determine that the tree is in a safe condition, “the basil added.
