A shocking video shows ex-girlfriend who shoots the Miami-Dad officer in the head before arrest-nbc miami

New videos were released in the first-degree murder attempt of a woman who supposedly shot her ex-boyfriend, an officer in Miami-Dad, in the head in 2022.

Jesenia Sanchez, 32 -year -old, apparently admits to detectives following the fact that she shot Damian Colon in November 2022.

Authorities said Sanchez, a former police officer at Miami-Dad schools, follows the colon, using an application and found it in his Hyalea home. An argument broke out and Sanchez seemed to shoot him and left.

The graphic video from the Colon home provided by the State Prosecutor’s Office seems to show that the couple speaks when Sanchez lifts a gun, directs it to the victim’s face and opens fire. Colon collapses on his back, motionless, and Sanchez moves away.

Adjustments to Miami-Dad

Police said she had then left to the 45th street and Palm Avenue, where she crashed into several other vehicles, then got out of the car and ran.

Sanchez was later arrested at her home on Eastern 45th Street.

The Bodycam video shows that it is handcuffed. A woman may be heard to cry, but it’s unclear if she is Sanchez.

Sanchez has been faced with several accusations, including first -degree murder attempt, struggling and leaving the site of a crash. She remains reserved at the Miami-Dad prison without a bond.

Kindness

Sanchez and Colon have been in a previous romantic relationship for seven years, police said.

Colon, a 17-year-old veteran at the Miami-Dad Police Department, survived the attack, but had a long way to recover with numerous operations and therapies.

Sanchez had resigned from her job as an officer in 2021 instead of being fired after her arrest on charges of domestic violence.
