Little Betty Steak Bar will launch a seafood restaurant in Mountain Brook’s Lane Parke next spring.
The restaurant, which is described as a “sister” concept to Little Betty, will be located in the old Melt space. Melt closed earlier this month after 10 years in the Mountain Brook development.
Owner Jamey Shirah said the menu will be inspired by coastal cuisine, complementing the dishes at Little Betty Steak Bar.
“Many of our guests have asked for more seafood options,” Shira said. “This new concept is a natural extension of the Little Betty experience, promising the same exceptional service and quality.”
The restaurant is currently hiring.
Shirah said he is “eager to further invest in the community and provide a unique dining experience. We are thrilled to continue to be part of the incredible growth of Birmingham’s dining scene.”
Little Betty opened last year at 321 Rele St., featuring “influences from the flavors of Italian and Japanese cuisine.”
