A police officer in North Las Vegas has been killed in deadly shooting | Nevada News | 2news.com – KTVN

Update – February 5:

The North Las Vegas Police Department found that the officer was fatally killed in a firing on Tuesday.

In an online publication, NLVPD says with deep sadness that they share the loss of one of their own.

On February 4, 2025, 46-year-old officer Jason Roskov made the Supreme Victim while serving the community of North Las Vegas.

NLVPD says that the 17-year career of officer Roskov began with their department in 2007. In 2013, he started working at their movement department, where he won the award for exceptional results under challenging conditions.

The employee succumbed to his injuries to the hospital after the shooting. The suspect in the incident is also dead.

A police officer in North Las Vegas has died after being shot repeatedly.

Our Las Vegas affiliate reports that the officer has succumbed to his injuries after the incident that happened on Tuesday afternoon.

Neither the officer nor the suspect was identified by police in North Las Vegas.

The suspected shooting is also dead.

After the shooting, the employee was taken to the University Medical Center for treatment but died at the hospital.

Governor Joe Lombardo responds to the firing on social media, writing “Please join me by praying for this officer and their family.”

The officer’s condition is unknown. The suspect is reported to be dead.
