A nice weekend goes on, the warmer and moist days ahead – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (Wafb) -Another cool morning start in the mid -40s will give way to another magnificent day with an abundant sun and a warm afternoon in the mid -70s.

Humidity returns

Returning the southern winds today will help to introduce into moisture from the bay and restore humidity at night next week.

This warm moist air will allow a little spray fog overnight on Monday morning and probably a few mornings this week.

Spring temperatures

High pressure ridge in the upper levels accumulate, which helps to bring temperatures above normal to low 80s for the working week.

Rain

With warmer temperatures and increase in humidity, there is a potential for pop-up afternoon showers and storms. Everything that develops must be relatively short -lived.

Extension

Moisture increases will warm up to the low to the low to the mid -1960s and afternoon warm to the low 80s through the prolonged forecast. Isolated showers can develop in the afternoon and evenings from Tuesday.
