A new member of the board
National Limited (NBLL) basketball leagues, with supervision of SAL and GJ Homes Tauihi Basketball Aotearo’s National Basketball League, is pleased to announce the appointment of Karen Muni in the NBLL committee.
Mounsey has extensive management experience, serving as a member of the board of Cairns Taipans since December 2014 and as a member of the Baseball Council of New Zealand of December 2023.
After a long period in Australia, she recently returned to New Zealand and did not want to contribute to the continuous success and growth of basketball at national level.
“We are glad to welcome Karen to the NBLL committee,” said Tracy Garland, chairman of the board. “Her experience in managing and her passion for sports will play an important role in shaping the future of our leagues and will further strengthen the leadership of the committee.”
She completed an appointed independent vacation representative left by Tom Aberkromb, who withdrew to pursue a new career opportunity. We thank Tom for his contribution and wish him all the best in his next chapter.
