Topeka (KSNT)-Topeka’s unprofitable purpose provides a new alternative way to some families to receive affordable health care.
Sent Topeka launched its SouthSide Wellness clinic in southeastern Topeka. It is intended to provide lower-income families with Medicaid, more affordable care.
Non-profit leaders have told 27 News that the program will help create patients with the best option.
“In fact, the person who runs this initiative, we call our defender of community health,” said Jonathan Sublet, who has been sent. “We call it this because it not only handles the services we offer here in the building, but it comes to the community and helps to inform our community about the health care opportunities that are available to them and associate them with them.”
The clinic is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and from 10am to 2pm on Friday for meetings. According to the SUBLET, the clinic is open on Thursday nights and Saturdays.
The clinic takes walks of 12-3: 30 on Tuesday, 3: 30-7 pm Thursday and from 10am to 1:30 pm on Friday.
