A 22-year-old south Carolina mother from a newborn girl was found dead after she disappeared during a birthday trip-telling her family that she did not feel safe leading to her tragic disappearance, according to reports.

Ta’halli’s body was discovered in Charlotte more than three weeks after she was reported to have disappeared, a police station in Charlotte-Meklenburg said last week.

She and her boyfriend, who share a 6-month-old girl, traveled about two hours from their home in Spartanburg through state lines on November 19 Charlotte’s observer this week.

Peyton was abandoned with “no phone, no money, no resources,” said Kelanie Davis.
