A man who led the Winston -Salem Police of Chase, who left an early arrested officer – WFMYNEWS2.com

29-year-old Taylor Macree Steyon has been charged with many crimes.

Winston-Salem, the NC man who led Winston-Salem staff in a high-speed persecution that left an officer wounded in January was arrested on Sunday and faced many crime charges.

The Winston-Salem Police Department said he was arrested by 29-year-old Taylor Macray Steyon on Sunday and accused him of the following:

  • A crime escapes to escape
  • Vehicle
  • Possession of a motor vehicle
  • Drilling, delay, and obstruction of a police officer
  • Violation of a violation of property
  • Drilling vandalism of property
  • Offency struck and run

The officers were called to the old Lexington Road on the morning of January 26 on the “Mental Health Violence Crisis”. When they arrived, Steyon – whom police said he was suffering from cognitive disabilities – allegedly attacked a family member and escaped from the scene.

Police said Steyon had passed through several residential yards and in a opposite movement. The responsible employees began the pursuit and tried twice to stop him before the pursuit ended the nearby parking lot and Steyon was caught by police.

During the pursuit, an officer entered an incident that made their patrol car roll over. The officer suffered minor injuries.

Styron is held at the County Resignment Center for Forsyth under a secured bond of $ 51,000.
