A man sentenced to over 6 years in prison for robbing a Store for St. Paul – AOL

A man was sentenced to more than six years in prison for the armed robbery of St. Paul’s mobile phone store last year.

The US Prosecutor’s Office of Minnesota has announced that the 31 -year -old Johnny Ward has been sentenced to 80 months in prison, followed by three years of supervisory release this week, and has been ordered to pay $ 4,900 for recovery.

Ward entered the mobile phone store on April 5, 2024 with an accomplice who wore a torch with a torch. As the accomplice directed a weapon to the employee, Ward demanded access to the safe in the back room.

He told the victim to “hurry up or else” before the couple escaped with several mobile phones.

He was convicted of robbery of the Hobbes Act following an investigation by the FBI and St. Paul Pd.
