A man with a continuous criminal history who had previously been in American immigration and law enforcement (ICE) was on the move after being accused of greaseing a 7-year-old Texas girl while returning home from school.

Carlos Jose Ayala Morales, 43 years old, has been accused of attempting to attempt independently with a child, the Houston Police Department said. He is accused of grabbing the girl on January 27 while she was on her way home from her primary school, Fox Houston reported.

The girl and her mother told her in the news outlet that she was walking behind her biggest sister and girlfriend. They said the man escaped, smeared her and escaped. The girl did not scream because she was in shock and told her bigger sister when they got home.

“A man came behind me and he touched my private parts,” the girl told the station.

“I hope he is caught and left much longer, so she can’t hurt other children,” her mother said.

Morales has a long criminal history. In 2017, he was charged with four allegations of a child and avoiding arrest.

At that time, police believed that Morales, whom they called Ayala, was associated with “at least 10 incidents about sexual assault in the Northeast Houston and Harris regions.”

Authorities have investigated a series of “sexual assaults of minor women of school age at 7-15 years while traveling to and from school,” according to the newsletter.

In an incident, Ayala tried to abduct one of the victims, a 7-year-old woman while returning from school with her 9-year-old brother, “police said.

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice told FOX 26 Ayala was transferred to prison to serve the simultaneous seven -year sentences for indebtedness with a child by exposure, three allegations of indebtedness with a child, avoiding arrest, detention and burglary.
