A man from Tokoa arrested in South Carolina for violation of probation, drug accusations – now Habersham

A Tokoa man was removed in South Carolina earlier this week after claiming to have violated the probation and possession of drugs, according to the Tokoa Police Department.

An elusive suspect, Jarrd Bashaun Puliam of Tokoa, was arrested in South Carolina with his face drug after being wanted by Stevens district for a presumed probation violation, according to Tokoa police chief Bruce Carlisle.

“They have been looking for it in the last week,” Carlisle said on Friday. “… They could never find the man. He just continued to bounce around, but finally they got it. ”

Pulliam is now accused of possession and intention to distribute fentanyl, as well as a violation of probation.

“They had to use some technology to find it,” said Carlisle, who was not aware of the type of technology used to capture Pulliam.

Pulliam is believed to be in custody in South Carolina until he is faced with charges in anticipation in Stevens County.
