A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of a woman whose body was discovered last week in a hotel room in Baton Rouge, according to police.
Donald Ray Walker was arrested on Friday at the Lake Towers apartment complex near the center of Baton Rouge and detained at the parish prison East Batton Rouge on charges of killing second -degree, illegal use of weapons and criminal in possession of a firearm, Baton Rouge police reported from the department.
The body of 65-year-old Linda Mace was discovered on January 13 in a room at a hotel near Airline Highway and an Intestinal Highway 12.
Police have said the investigation of her death is still ongoing.
