A man arrested in connection with Hialeah Carjacking – WPLG Local 10

Hialeah, FLA. “A man was arrested on Monday after he was ignited in Hyalia on New Year’s Eve, authorities confirmed.

According to an arrest report, the 63-year-old victim went to his vehicle in a parking garage after work on December 31, when he noticed a “strange” man moving in the area.

Police said the victim got into her car and then started driving to the exit when she noticed another woman she knew about, sitting inside her vehicle.

The victim then approached the vehicle and warned the woman of the suspicious man in the garage, authorities said.

Police reported that the man, who had since been identified as the 23 -year -old Fabrik Patrick Sibilia of Miami, approached the victim and reached in her car, trying to grab his mobile phone from his hand.

According to the report, the victim managed to stay on her phone and quickly left.

Police said the woman was pulling on a nearby dock and the other woman followed her to make sure she was fine.

According to the report, the victim got out of her car and headed to the other woman’s vehicle, talking to her through the driver’s side window before Sibilia ran to them, jumping into the victim’s car.

Police said the victim had tried to stop Sibilia, but he hit her in the face and pushed her.

He then struck the woman with his own car as he retired, dragged her before making her fall to the ground, authorities said.

Police said the woman’s belongings, including her mobile phone, are still in the vehicle.

According to the report, the monitoring video has helped detectives to associate Sibilia with the crime.

Police said the victim’s car was found abandoned on January 6 at about half a mile from Sibilia’s home.

According to the report, the vehicle was found on the same day, the witness identified Sibilia as Karishar in a photo line. The victim identifies him in a photo composition the next day.

Sibilia is facing robbery/theft fees and an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

As of Tuesday afternoon, it was held at the Turner Guilford Knight correction center without a connection.
