Laredo, Tex. (KGNS) – A man has been arrested for claiming to have fired and killed two pit bulls, which he says he has attacked his own dog. Police in Larendo have arrested 33-year-old Jesus Alberto de la Cruz and accused him of throwing a firearm.
The incident happened on Sunday, January 26, around 11:30 am at home of 1617, Rene Solis Drive. Police say a man put his dog in his backyard when two pit bulls entered a small opening in the fence and attacked his dog.
Then De la Cruz put his dog inside and seemed to shoot and kill both attacking pit bulls.
Both dead pit bulls were taken from the animal care services in Larendo, and De la Cruz was taken to the County web district. Police claim that no one claimed to have dead pit bulls.
