A man was arrested on Sunday after police found a 38 -year -old woman dead in Renault’s home.
Around 11 o’clock in the morning, the officers responded to a report on suspicious circumstances in the 1000 Harvard Block Road near Vasar Street. They met with the 30 -year -old Philip Montoya before finding the woman’s body, authorities said.
Later, investigators described Montoya as a suspect and he was arrested on an open murder charge. Police say there is no threat to the public.
The Regional Medical Specialist of the Washo County will release the victim’s identity after notifying the next relatives.
