A local group that collects Valentine’s Day cards – KTVN

A group of locals ask for your help, providing some heat to the elderly in the neighborhood that day of Valentine’s Day.

The group is trying to collect 1,100 wheels for February 4 and 2400 more cards by February 12, so that they can start sorting and delivered to Valentine’s Day.

Local schools and parents in the community are looking to partner with this project as well.

Anyone who has cards for the project can release them at Boulevard Pizza on 1076 Rock Boulevard on Sparks until February 4th.

The group says they are looking for quality, not a quantity – and they want the cards to be at least 5 “to 5”, so the adults who receive the cards can view and read them easily.
