A large line of cars waiting for eggs spotted in Chino against the background of national shortage – ABC7 Los Angeles

Chino, California (Kabc) – We have seen this happen before and it happens again.

People were seen arranged bright and early in Egg Farm and a driving store in Chino to buy fresh eggs.

The video shared with Eywitness News on Saturday showed the long section of cars, everyone waiting to get a new batch. Many said they started arranging at 7am and spent about an hour in a queue. The farm has run out of eggs by 11am

This comes as egg prices seek to strive due to bird flu devastating American poultry farms.

Tens of millions of birds have been killed across the country, including some of Los Angeles County.

While the crisis affects the eggs, it has not yet affected the prices of poultry. The difference is related to how hens and meat are raised and accommodated.

Chicken complexes usually have more than a million birds on the spot, while the broiler facilities have about 10,000. The chickens take about nine months to start having eggs, but broiler chickens gather within 30 to 60 days.

Farmers say the combination of more hens spending a long time on farms facilitates the spread of bird flu.
