Creekside High School’s Deputy Teacher at Fairfield, Ohio, was arrested on Tuesday after police said he was seen “masturbating in the classroom while attending students,” said police cincinnati.com.
It all happened last Tuesday when the Fairfield police received a complaint in the middle of the morning involving Tracy Abraham, a 41-year-old deputy teacher.
According to a statement by Fairfield Schools, students report “suspicious behavior by the substitute behind the desk.”
After high school administrators were signaled about the alleged behavior, the school resources employee immediately removed Abraham from the classroom and the building.
Fairfield police have accused Abraham of public obscenity.
The defendant’s father, for his part, was shocked to hear what had happened. “I don’t think what they saw is what really happens,” said Rick Abraham, adding that his son has never shown such problems in his life.
School staff said they did not believe that the teacher had physical contact with any students.
Abraham was appointed Tuesday to the Fairfield Municipal Court. His next court appearance was set for January 15th. He is sentenced to stay away from all places where minors under the age of 18 are present.
