A FreMont man arrested for raping a child in northern bay – AOL

(Kron) -20-year-old Fremont resident was arrested on Friday after being charged with sexual assault on a child in a vehicle in Novi, according to authorities. The suspect, identified as Omar Shirhan, is said to have introduced himself as a 15-year-old on social media, police said in Novi.

The victim reported to police on a novice on Friday afternoon that they were sexually attacked in a parked vehicle earlier that morning. Employees received information about the location of Shirhan and found the connected vehicle, authorities said.

As the officers approached Shirhan, he escaped to the suspected vehicle, said Novi Pd. After approximately 15 minutes, the MP from the sheriff of Marin saw the suspected vehicle moving south along the 101 highway near Road Lucas Valley Road. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and Shirhan withdrew to San Rafael.

PD Novato employees responded and took Shirhan in custody shortly before 5:30 pm. He was transported to the police department for sexual assault.

Shirhan was eventually booked in the Marin County Prison on charges of:

• Rape of a drug victim

• Illegal sexual contact with a minor

• Arranging to meet a minor to commit a sexual crime

• Driving a suspended DUI certificate

• Obstruction of a police officer

Shirhan, whose prison record shows his occupation as a “pizza manufacturer”, is currently on a $ 500,000 warranty at noon on Monday.
