A free pet vaccine clinic is being held in Baton Rouge at Southern University – AOL

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRUD) — Southern University’s Center for Agribusiness and the Pre-Veterinary Medicine Club in SU’s College of Agriculture, Human Sciences and the Environment have partnered with the LSU Mobile Community Outreach Unit to host Vet on Wheels. This is a free vaccination clinic for dogs and cats.

The event will be from 15:00 to 18:00 on November 6. It will be held on the lawn of Fisher Hall at Southern University. The clinic will give the animals their basic vaccinations, including rabies.

Southern University pre-veterinary students will have a chance for hands-on experience during the event.

Southern University is located at 801 Harding Blvd.
