A former Uconn basketball player, South Carolina, arrested in the murder of a mother in Florida, authorities say – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Time, Sport | Fort Lauderdale

Jacksonville, Florida (WSVN) -Division I Basketball player I was arrested in Jacksonville for being claimed to have killed his mother, authorities said.

28-year-old Eric Kob was removed on Monday after MPs from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s office responded at home on 15th street west in the mid-west neighborhood.

The officers found 51-year-old Erica Wonford, who did not respond in the backyard, wrapped in a blanket and towels, with a fatal firearm. She was declared dead in place.
