A fire at the North Topeka warehouse earlier Tuesday causes damage to $ 175,000 – Wibw

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) – The fire overnight caused about $ 175,000 in a warehouse in North Topeka.

The crews from the Topeka Fire Service were sent around 1:15 pm Tuesday to Davin Electric on 2131 Ne Grantville Road in response to a reported fire structure.

Fire crews have arrived to find a large warehouse with strong smoke, employees said. Firefighters extinguished the flame, detaining it in the building where it began.

Brett Conli, owner and president of Davin Electric, said the warehouse contains materials that the company uses in its projects.

No inhabitants were located during the incident.

The reason for the flame is still being investigated on Tuesday morning.

The total forecasted loss of fire is indicated at approximately $ 175,000, with $ 75,000 in losses and $ 100,000 in a loss of content.

Conli said he was grateful for the reaction of the crews of Topeka’s fire department in the fight against Blaise.

“They did a fantastic job,” Conli said. “They were incredible.”
