A female driver with a six -fold alcohol limit – Durham Post

Durham police are accused of (and released) a woman driver captured six times more than the allowable level of alcohol in his blood.

On Friday, February 7, around 5:20 pm, members of the Eastern Division responded to 911 calls reporting a violated driver in the Baseline Road and Courcice Road area in Courcice, according to police records.

Officers deployed the vehicle, Kia Sportage and talked to the driver.

The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. The results of the respiratory tests show 480 mg and 460 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood – six times larger than the legal limit of 80 mg, according to police.

A 43-year-old Port Hope woman was accused and released.
