RENO COUNTY – A Kansas woman accused of violent domestic assault has pleaded guilty to lesser charges in the case.
Last week, Camby Lee Coley, 55, of Hutchinson, pleaded guilty to two counts of wanton endangerment, a Class A felony. She was originally charged with attempted murder. That charge was dismissed.
In January, a complaint was filed against her in Reno County Circuit Court for an incident that occurred on Jan. 21 in Reno County. According to the complaint, Colley attempted to kill Mavice L Reed-Butters on January 21.
The State further argues that the crime in this case involved domestic violence.
Coley will serve 12 months in the Reno County Correctional Facility for each charge. The charges will run consecutively for a supervised sentence of 24 months.
