Wawa closed its first drive-thru location, which opened three years ago in Falls Township, earlier this week.
The first Wawa drive-thru location closed earlier this week, Graysen Golter writes for the The morning call.
The site opened three years ago at West Trenton Avenue and Pine Grove Road in Falls Township, next to an existing Wawa store. It was introduced during the pandemic as the Delaware County-based company’s new concept.
Other Wawa locations will remain open, Wawa spokeswoman Jennifer Wolfe said.
In addition to drive-thru locations, some Wawa stores have added drive-thru windows in recent years.
