TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tallahassee police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened Monday afternoon on Blair Stone Road.
The incident happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday after officers were dispatched to a shooting incident involving two vehicles, according to TPD.
An investigation revealed that the occupants of one vehicle began shooting at a second vehicle, which then caused the second vehicle to crash near the intersection of Blair Stone Road and Phillips Road, police said in a news release.
Police said the victim in the second vehicle did not suffer gunshot wounds.
However, the vehicle was hit by several bullets and sustained damage during the crash, according to Tallahassee police.

The suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene before being located by police near the intersection of Tennessee and Monroe Streets, police said.
Responding officers then conducted a high-risk traffic stop near Madison Street and South Monroe Street.
Police said six people were safely taken into custody for questioning.
It is unclear at this time what led to the shooting, TPD said in a news release.
