It was the cutest gum machine ever – this one just didn’t dispense candy.
As little clear and colorful balls made their way down the spiral dispenser, Sabrina Carpenter fans eagerly awaited to see what they would win. Merch? Nothing? Or maybe tickets to the superstar’s sold-out show in Seattle?
For some lucky fans, that’s exactly what happened.
That was just one fun aspect of Sabrina’s Sweet Spot pop-up truck, which made its way to downtown Seattle on Sunday. This pop-up experience is a partnership between Carpenter’s “Short N’ Sweet” tour and T-Mobile.
T-Mobile is partnering with this tour because it is “all about giving our customers the best experiences beyond their phone plans. With Magenta Status, they’re more than just connected—they get VIP access to the artists and events they love, like this one-of-a-kind Sabrina Carpenter pop-up.”
Seattle is one of only seven cities to be treated to the Sabrina’s Sweet Spot pop-up, which is exclusive to T-Mobile customers with magenta status. This experience happened just days before the singer performed her concert at the Climate Pledge Arena on Wednesday, November 6.
Seattle Refined was supposed to be at the pop-up on Sunday and it sure was sweet.
Songs from Carptenter’s sixth studio album, “Short n’ Sweet,” filled the area as fans lined up to receive a bag of Sabrina-themed goodies, like chocolate hearts, and then got to choose from merchandise like a personalized poster for a tour of Seattle or a phone charm. There were also some cute photo opportunities.
Of course, there was the aforementioned bubblegum machine where fans could win free tickets to the show.
We posted a recap of the event on Seattle Refined’s TikTok and a fan commented that they were among the lucky ones who won tickets.
Getting access to reserved concert tickets (even for sold-out concerts) is just one of the benefits of T-Mobile’s Magenta status. Other perks include hotel and car rental deals, free streaming subscriptions, travel perks like in-flight WiFi and more. You can learn more about Magenta status online.
This was definitely Sabrina Carpenter’s year. She’s taking over music charts, social media, and now arenas across the United States. Her tour literally sold out in about a week.
I was one of the lucky few who got to see Carpenter perform on the second night of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in New Orleans. I was encapsulated by her, and if I wasn’t already excited enough to see her in Seattle, this moment definitely put me over the top.
She may be short and she may be cute, but she definitely has a huge impact.
See you on Wednesday, fellow Sabrina fans!
