LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The Laredo City Council will hold its regular meeting on Monday, November 4th with several key items up for discussion.
Council members will talk about the idea of stopping or pausing funds for non-essential projects and moving that money into the city’s general fund. This can lead to discounts on municipal water bills or help finance water system projects.
They will also consider sharing a financial report detailing council members’ pay, including travel allowances, promotions, health benefits and pensions.
Another item on the agenda is possible drug testing of transparency council members.
The meeting starts at 5.30 pm in the Municipality building. Community members are welcome to attend.
