Former Sioux Falls mayor Knob: We need to put the Republican sheep who don’t oppose Trump out to pasture – The South Dakota Standard

Former Sioux Falls mayor Knob: We need to put the Republican sheep who don’t oppose Trump out to pasture – The South Dakota Standard

A few observations and a question: Both presidential candidates are work hard.

One candidate continues to attack almost every group and individual. His words and the actions become more and more fickle.

The other talk ideas, solutions about what needs fixing and how to do it. She has gone into attack mode, pointing out her opponent’s erratic behavior.

Earlier this week I predicted that Harris would win by 9 million votes and get over 300 electoral votes and become president. The polls let’s say it’s a tie in the swing states. I believe the polls are wrong.

In South Dakota, I’m listening. I haven’t heard from ANY Republican candidate for the Legislature or a county commission to criticize Trump’s words and actions. Not one. Like too many Rs they are lost. They are not leaders. They are followers. Sheep, if you will. (No offense to the woolly four-legged ones).

If we elect the same sheep in South Dakota, we are voting against our best interest. If you look closely at the records of the current flock of sheep, you will find a history of disagreement with the decisions of the voters, constant attempts to make it difficult for us to initiates and sends lawsand ongoing efforts to control our lives. Freedom does NOT live here.

Women are victims. Independents are disenfranchised. LBGT people are in the political crosshairs. Banning books and other forms of censorship are too.

You may think that none of these problems affect you. They do it. And your choices, habits, and behaviors may be next.

Here is the query: Please send the current flock of sheep to the retirement pasture. Let them live out their lives where they can do no more harm. You will live better and sleep better.
