Woman arrested for giving up machete at Ajax plaza – durhamradionews.com


Toronto woman charged after machete-style knife incident in Ajax.

Durham Police were called to a plaza near Harwood Avenue South and Bayly Street East on Saturday around 2:55 p.m.

Officers were told a woman was brandishing a machete-style knife and pointing it at a man.

When they arrived at the scene, they found the woman and detained her.

The man is not physically injured.

Kaylee-Ann Fryer, 25, of Toronto, is charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

She was released on bail.
