On November 2, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) hosted its 13th annual Art+Film Gala, attracting prominent figures from the world of entertainment. This year’s event honored renowned artist Simone Lee and director Baz Luhrmann, co-chaired by Trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio, along with Gucci Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and Deputy CEO Stefano Cantino.
LACMA’s gala celebrates the intersection of art and film while raising funds for the museum’s various initiatives, including exhibitions and curatorial programs.
The evening included a special performance by Charli XCX and Troye Sivan, who delighted guests before indulging in dinner prepared by Chef David Shim of Simon Kim’s Korean steakhouse, COTE. Gucci sponsored the red carpet, marking the launch of the Gucci Notte collection, which followed last year’s launch of the Gucci Ancora Notte. The collection emphasized elegant evening wear and attendees certainly embraced the fashion theme of the gala.
