‘Vampire’ singer says it’s a deal breaker when guys say yes to one particular question
Olivia Rodrigo has an unusual first date question.
The 21-year-old “Vampire” singer revealed one of her dating “red flags” during an interview with Netflix posted on Instagram on Nov. 1.
Discussing the meaning behind the many signature T-shirts he wore on stage during his Guts world tour, including one that read ‘Dump Him’ – which Rodrigo said was a ‘classic tribute to Miss Britney Spears’ – the star went on to reveal the question, that she asks guys on first dates to gauge their compatibility.
“The biggest red flag, well, this is a very weird specific question that I ask guys on first dates,” she began. I always ask them if they want to go into space.
“And if they say yes, I won’t date them,” Rodrigo continued with a smile. “I just think if you want to go into space, you’re a little too full of yourself.”

Elsewhere during his conversation with Netflix, the songwriter also described this Sex and the city is one of her favorite shows and said she is firmly Team Aidan, referring to John Corbett’s character in the series.
“Mr. Big Bads,” she said, a nod to Chris Knott’s character, who serves as the other love interest of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw. “But we’ve all dated guys like that. You can’t let them go. But yes, Aiden for the win.”

Rodrigo is currently dating Louis Partridge. Speculation about the couple began swirling last year and they later confirmed the rumors when photos surfaced of them kissing in New York in December.
The sour the singer previously accompanied Enola Holmes actor at the Venice Film Festival in August, when she expressed her support for him in a loving TikTok post.

Partridge later appeared to confirm that he had traveled with Rodrigo to the Philippines during her tour when he included a photo of her in a carousel posted on Instagram in October.
