By james art Voters will choose their next president, senators, congressmen and local city officials on November 5. UCI students can vote early or otherwise on campus if they wish.
Vote in person
In-person voting locations will be open on Election Day at the University Hills Community Center and UCI Student Center from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The centers will also be open from 8am to 8pm on November 2-4.
Students who have previously voted are not required to bring identification. First-time voters are encouraged to bring a name and photo student ID, driver’s license, passport or utility bill in case they are asked for identification.
Vote by mail
Students can drop off their ballots at the Campus Ballot Box located at West Peltason Drive and Pereira Drive in Lot 5 until 8pm on November 5th.
Ballots must be postmarked on or before Nov. 5 and received by Nov. 12 with the signature matching the state records to be considered valid.

Voting events
The Associated Students of UC Irvine (ASUCI) and the Associated Graduate Students (AGS) are collaborating to offer “Stop Zot N’ Vote” buses. Stop Zot N’ Vote will pick you up at designated stops and take you to the Student Center where in-person voting takes place.
Bus stops include pickups at VDCN stops 1, 2 and 3, East Campus Housing in Arroyo Vista. California Avenue and Adobe Circle South near the ARC and Verano Place and Palo Verde with returns to the Student Center for in-person voting on November 2nd and 3rd. Students who ride Stop Zot N’ Vote can receive an anteater vote sticker and candy while supplies last.
The Office of the ASUCI External Vice President will host the Voter Palooza event on Election Day from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on the Student Center Terrace. For additional information, voters can visit the ASUCI-AGS General Election Voter’s Guide.
Students wishing to vote off campus should visit the California Secretary of State’s website for additional information on polling locations and drop boxes throughout the state.
